The Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing is currently the APSU’s primary funding agent. Funding provides infrastructure support for APSU studies that relate to communicable and vaccine-preventable conditions.

 The APSU is grateful to the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, University of Sydney for allowing the Director of the APSU time to participate in APSU activities.

The Children’s Hospital, Westmead, generously provides office space and infrastructure support.

A Healthway health promotion research grant contributes towards the surveillance of Fetal alcohol syndrome, which was initiated in 2001.

Nutricia Australia have kindly contributed funding towards the costs of the 2001 APSU Annual Report.
